Intellectual property protection is the most basic building block of a
successful market economy and a participatory democracy.
Legal protection for the expression of creative ideas and the outcomes
of scientific research is essential for the development and long-term
grown of a national culture of business and innovation.
Understanding the concepts and importance of laws protecting patents,
copyrights and trademarks is critical for leaders to move a nation from

IIPI specialists create education and training programs tailored to the
cultural needs of particular audiences and countries. IIPI experts

UNESCO's Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage and
