Exploring the relationships between patents, pharmaceutical
innovation and public health
Untangling complex relationships that drive the development, pricing
and accessibility of new drugs is key to advancing public health
systems in both industrialized and developing countries. How can
profit-making pharmaceutical companies recoup development costs,
generate profits and act with social responsibility?
Limited to approximately 200 participants, Intellectual Property and
International Public Health offers a select group of healthcare
professionals from around the world a unique opportunity to speak
candidly about today’s most pressing issues. This conference
promises to shed new light on several vital issues dominating the
international public health stage.
